JAMAL BLACKMAN and Ryan Woods did their low budget version of Anthony Joshua v Joseph Parker as Sheffield United’s Championsh­ip play-off hopes were dented again.

Blackman and Woods came to blows after

NUNO ESPIRITO SANTO claimed “everyone lost control” after his Wolves side held out bravely to win with nine men.

Chris Mepham had equalised for the hosts, with the Bees midfielder attempting to quickly get the ball back to the centre-circle.

Woods lost his patience as the former Chelsea academy keeper held the ball out of his reach before the bad-tempered duo slapped each other round the face to earn themselves red cards.

Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder, whose side remain outside the play-off spots, said: “I don’t know what Woods is thinking about, he’s dealing with a 6ft 6ins lad and he’s only 5ft!”
