SAM THE MAN FOR HAMMERS

WEST HAM are lining up a £4million move for Manchester United goalkeeper Sam Johnstone. The 25 year-old (left) has impressed on loan at Aston Villa, where he has played in the first team since January 2017. And the Hammers, who will send England’s Joe Hart back to Manchester City at the end of his loan in May, are keen to sign Johnstone permanently in the summer. United recently activated their option to extend Johnstone’s contract by a year to 2019, meaning West Ham will have to pay up to secure him.
