GAVE THE GAME SHOW GLAMOUR

- BY LAURA CONNOR

IT was case of good game, good game as the Generation Game returned to our screens last night.

Dancer Rosemarie, now 56, went on to host Come Dancing until 1998, before its sister show Strictly Come Dancing launched in 2004 (presented, of course, by Brucie). She married My Family actor Robert Lindsay in 2006 and maintained a close bond with Forsyth. Starting as a weather presenter on GMTV, Sally went on the host the Generation Game with Jim Davidson. The mum-of-two, 52, later appeared on makeover shows including Real Rooms and has presented on Talk Radio and 963 Liberty Radio. At 5ft 10in, Melanie, now 49, became known for having the “best legs in TV” while co-presenting with Jim Davidson. She went on to star in Ready, Steady Dance and in a string of West End shows. All-singing, all-dancing Melanie has also released albums and played gigs across the US and Europe. She appeared alongside host Jim for a year while Melanie was co-host, and says people always mistook her for the hostess though she was only there to do comedy sketches. Now 42, the married mum-of-two’s impressions got her to the 2013 Britain’s Got Talent finals. She has also starred in theatre shows including Aladdin.
