Tears for Robyn

Millions of viewers were sobbing on Saturday night, and not just because Dec was hosting without Ant on ITV.

Over on BBC1’s Casualty, newlyweds Robyn Miller and Glen Thomas were trying to recover from a car crash but his brain tumour worsened and he died after making a speech about his love for his new wife.

Amanda Henderson, who plays Robyn, admits it will be very tough for her character in the coming weeks.

She says: “It is not an easy road for Robyn but she is a tough cookie. She has almost been through it before when he left her at the altar first time around. Her coping strategy is she throws herself into her work and baby.” GRIM Glen in hospital bed
