JOS KEEP ON TRYING

- BY NATHAN HEMMINGHAM

SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY boss Jos Luhukay is challenging his players to end the season on a high. The Dutchman has struggled for wins since replacing Carlos Carvalhal. But Friday’s 4-1 victory over Preston, which followed a 2-1 success at Leeds, looks to have secured their Championship status. They head into today’s game at Sunderland 10 points clear of the drop, but Luhukay (left) wants more. He said: “We must now continue this good feeling we have after two victories. Every game is still important, especially at home in front of so many fans – we must show them we are giving everything. “We take 3,000 fans to away games and we must give them a performance and some positive results.”
