THE Duchess of Cambridge emerged from maternity leave to attend church and bumped into fellow mum-to-be Zara Tindall.

Kate, due to give birth to her third child any day now, and Zara, whose second is due in the summer, joined the Queen and other royals for the Easter Matins service at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, yesterday.

Her Majesty, 91, who was without Prince Philip, 96, was presented with posies by Madeline Carleston and Amelia Vivian, both six.

Madeline’s mum, Deborah, said William, 35, and Kate, 36, told them children George, four, and Charlotte, two, had enjoyed an Easter egg hunt.

She said: “They said there had been great excitement this morning. They said their children will probably still be finding eggs in six months’ time.”

Also present at St George’s, which will host Harry and Meghan’s wedding next month, were Zara’s mum Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and his daughters Beatrice and Eugenie.
