Chief promises Baggies rebirth

WEST BROM chief Mark Jenkins has vowed to deliver a major summer “overhaul” at the doomed basement club with Alan Pardew set to be axed.

Pardew (top right) remains as manager, but is expected to go at the end of the season when it is £1million cheaper to sack him.

Baggies CEO Jenkins (top left) said: “The summer will see us conduct an overhaul, which will reset the club’s operating manual and establish a fresh structure and vision for the long term.

“The most important thing is to enable this experience to provide the incentive for a new chapter, attacked with fresh energy and plans.”
