Down’s teen lands dream job as model
A DOWN’S syndrome girl’s dream of becoming a model has come true.
Alexandria Walsh, 54, answered an ad for daughter Faith Bates, 15.
Simple Stuff Works were so impressed by hair and beauty student Faith’s portfolio that they called Alex 24 hours later.
On March 21, World Down Syndrome Day, Faith had her debut photoshoot for the firm, which makes bed support items for the disabled.
Alexandria, of Windle, Merseyside, said: “I can’t tell you how happy she was to get this opportunity.
“It was so amazing for my beautiful Faith to model for them.
“And for them to put on social media that she’s a professional model made her so excited.”
