Lee’s Rad all over

HULL coach Lee Radford admits he had doubts whether Marc Sneyd would be able to land his game-winning drop goal from 52 metres.

When his playmaker set himself up for the dramatic kick with the scores at 26-26, Radford thought his scrum-half did not have a chance.

But when he saw it sail through the uprights, he could not have been happier.

“I thought we were too far out to try it,” Radford said. “It was an unbelievable effort with the ball as wet as it was, and with the surface as damp as it was.”
