Wigan Warriors 44 Hull KR 6
WIGAN coach Shaun Wane was delighted with his side’s defensive display as they kept Hull KR to just one try.
“I think our attitude was outstanding today,” said Wane. “Our defence is what really impressed me.”
Wigan’s Liam Marshall led the way in his side’s scoring with four tries, Liam Farrell touched down twice and there were also tries for George Williams and Sam Tomkins, the latter kicking six conversions. Hull KR’s try came from Chris Atkin.
