Ronaldo is 10 out of 10 for Madrid
Juventus 0 Real Madrid 3 Q-final 1st leg
CRISTIANO RONALDO’S superb double crushed Juventus to put Real Madrid in touching distance of the semi-finals.
The Portgual star took just three minutes to set his latest record.
His run ended with a delicious flick across Gianluigi Buffon, making him the first player to score in 10 consecutive Champions League games.
Juventus should have been level midway through the half, but Gonzalo Higuain’s bullet header from Paulo Dybala’s free-kick was met by a stunning, one-handed save from Navas.
Dybala was rightly booked for a blatant dive in the box just before half-time. And Ronaldo made it 2-0 on 64 minutes (above) with a magnificent overhead kick.
Moments later, Dybala was shown a second yellow, before Marcelo as good as booked Real’s place in the semis with a third goal on 72 minutes.
