Bubba’s a bit odd.. and evens

-

BUBBA WATSON is so odd he was once voted the player that PGA pros would least like to help if he got in a fight in the car park.

But in even years, the left-hander is a popular bet. The Southern boy from Bagdad, Florida claimed the Green Jacket in 2012 and 2014 – and celebrated his second success at nearby fast-food joint Waffle House.

And the world No.19, with the shocking pinkcoloured driver, has shown he is hungry for more titles this year by winning the Genesis Open in Los Angeles for the third time and then his second WGC title at the Dell Match Play.

All this after Watson, now 39, admitted he nearly gave up the game last year after a mystery weightlosing illness to concentrate on his growing business empire in the Panhandle including a Chevy dealership and a candy shop.

And Watson is sweet on his chances. “I want a Green Jacket, I never felt a coat feel so good,” he said.
