Thief targets blind George

A BLIND father’s £182 benefits were snatched from him as he dropped one of his walking sticks.

George Bloomer, 49, was on his way to shops when the hooded thief struck in Gateshead, Tyne & Wear.

He said: “He must have known I was disabled, walking with two sticks.”
