I’ve lost my best pal, says crash mum

DESTROYED Family’s car THE grieving mother of a woman killed in a Florida car crash says her daughter “was my best friend”.

Tourist Maryanne Stephenson, 29, died on Monday with her husband Adam, 30, and his parents Sherry, 56, and Bryan, 59, when a truck hit their car.

Heartbroken Nanette Drake, 47, from Bristol, said: “She was wonderful, lovely, the best daughter a mum could wish for. She messaged me every day.”

Investigators believe the rented car’s GPS was responsible for Adam making a U-turn into the path of a truck. The truck driver was uninjured.

The four had just been to see Elon Musk’s SpaceX rocket launch at the Kennedy Space Center.
