Son fights on over car killer

A SON is launching a civil case after the speeding drink-driver who killed his mother avoided jail.

Grieving David Fullwood, 65, who lost his mum Edna, 90, said: “I feel I’ve had no justice. The man who killed my mum hasn’t gone to prison.”

Liam Gallagher 29, got a 19-month suspended jail term after hitting her in Blurton, Staffs, in 2016.

Mr Fullwood’s lawyer Shane Smith said: “A bright and active pensioner had her life snubbed out.”
