House blaze dad ‘our ray of sunshine’

THE family of a loving dad who died in a house fire remembered their “ray of sunshine” yesterday.

Danny Earl, 25, was killed in the Easter Sunday blaze with girlfriend Jill Harrison, 22.

Relatives said: “He was a one of a kind and touched the hearts of many.”

Danny, who had a daughter, Ruby, from a previous relationship, was called an “effervescent character” by villagers.

An investigation is continuing in Knock, near Appleby, Cumbria.
