Choir ditched by ‘PC’ police
A POLICE force has severed ties with its own male voice choir after it refused to allow women to join.
Derbyshire Constabulary Male Voice Choir must now change its name and is banned from wearing police tunics or using a police station to practise.
Chief Constable Peter Goodman said Derbyshire Police could “no longer support” the choir.
Choir chairman Kevin Griffiths said members felt that they were “victims of political correctness”.
