RS5 GETS 5

-

Audi launched a Sportback model of its popular high performance RS5 at New York last week. It’s the first time Audi has made a five-door version of it.

The car boasts a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 engine that produces 450bhp and drives through an eight-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission to Audi’s familiar Quattro fourwheel drive system.

On top of the standard chassis, buyers will be able to spec their RS5 Sportback with an optional RS sport suspension package that includes Dynamic Ride Control (DRC for short). It features electronically adjustable dampers and ceramic brakes.

Inside you get RS sports seats trimmed in Nappa leather with honeycomb stitching, a flat bottomed steering wheel and specific RS displays in the standard fit Virtual Cockpit instrument panel. Prices soon.
