PEPPA TOYS R IN FIRING LINE
The collapse of Toys R Us will dent sales, the owner of kids’ TV hit Peppa Pig warned yesterday. Entertainment One said there would be “some impact” for a while and that it was “monitoring the situation closely.” The firm, a major maker and distributor of TV shows and films, still expects full-year sales and profits to be up around 50%. China is the latest country to catch the Peppa Pig bug, with the pre-school show viewed 45 billion times via video-on-demand websites there.
