PETER WRIGHT will be fighting for survival in the Unibet Premier League on darts’ so-called ‘Judgement Night’.
‘Snakebite’ Wright or Mensur Suljovic will join Gerwyn Price in being eliminated from the 10-man field, as the first phase concludes at Liverpool’s Echo Arena. Wright, who faces Daryl Gurney, may yet be thankful for the point he snatched, from 6-3 down, against Simon Whitlock last week.
He said: “I’ve got my fighting spirit back.
“Nobody is going to beat me easily any more, no matter how good they are.”
Suljovic is favourite for the chop because he faces reigning champion and world No.1 Michael van Gerwen.
