5 more victims of a serial killer?
FORMER detective Mark Williams-Thomas believes quadruple murderer Angus Sinclair could have killed at least five more victims.
And he is hoping his new TV series will lead to further convictions for the sick Scottish serial killer.
Mark starts the second series of The Investigator tonight looking into Peter Tobin, who is serving life for three murders.
His investigation into missing women moves from the south coast to Scotland and he is stunned by evidence linking Sinclair to several more killings.
He told Square Eyes: “Tobin too could be responsible for more murders but Sinclair is another kettle of fish. I have never investigated a man as dangerous and predatory.
“Between 1970 and 1982 this man was at large in Glasgow and Edinburgh, killing. I am working on evidence he is responsible for at least another five murders. He is a nasty, nasty piece of work.”
Mark investigates the unsolved murders of possible Sinclair victims Anna Kenny, Agnes Cooney and Hilda McAuley, who were all abducted and killed in Glasgow in 1977.
He said: “I hope the programme will lead to prosecution. I know the crown and police are taking very seriously the evidence we are gathering so I hope that leads to a further consideration to bring more charges.
“Even if we can’t take Sinclair through the courts, we can say he killed those people and the family members can say we at least now know he killed our daughter.”
Mark’s investigation starts on ITV at 9pm. He also finds an address where he believes Tobin could have buried a victim in Brighton.
