Blues plans to salute Wilkins
CHELSEA will celebrate Ray Wilkins’ life and career with a number of tributes ahead of their game with West Ham on Sunday.
Wilkins, aged 61, passed away on Wednesday. He began his career at the club and had two spells as assistant manager.
Chelsea will stage a minute’s applause before kick-off while the players will wear black armbands and the official programme will pay homage to him.
Ex-Spurs star Graham Roberts, an England team-mate, said: “You could always see the love and respect people in the game had for him.”
