KATIE’S most lucrative contract is for TV series My Crazy Life, which pays around £30,000 an episode.

The new series will feature the aftermath of her terrifying robbery last week, when thieves pounced on a car carrying Katie and her children across South Africa when they stopped for a toilet break.

It is produced by ITV branch Shiver for channel Quest Red and Katie is pulling out all of the stops to maintain ratings.

The programme currently pulls in the channel’s highest viewing figures, with 150,000 people tuning in for each episode.

A source said: “This series is going to be explosive, which is just what Katie’s brand needs.”

But it is still a far cry from the peak of her ITV series with ex Peter Andre, Katie and Peter, which regularly drew over a million.

A brief stint on Celebrity Big Brother earned Katie £400,000 in 2015 and she made £350,000 for returning to the jungle in I’m A Celebrity in 2009.

Katie also appeared in TV movie Sharknado 5 last year, and is a regular on ITV’s Loose Women.
