MAD FOR IT!

Moment to savour at Kempton

-

A MOMENT OF MADNESS is the sane choice to repeat his win of 12 months ago at Kempton (2.05).

Last year, Charlie Hills’ ace was having his first outing in 2017 when beating Robot Boy by three-quarters of a length.

The five-year-old has got a run under his belt this time around, having finished half a length and a head behind Tomily in a fivefurlong handicap at Lingfield two weeks ago.

The winner, who followed up at Kempton last Saturday, reopposes on 5lb worse terms here – and that opens the door for A Moment of madness and Will Buick to gain their revenge.

Jeremy Noseda has much to look forward this year and the LA FIGLIA Newmarket trainer’s is taken for a winning stable debut in the Listed Snowdrop Fillies’ Stakes (3.15).

Trained by William Haggas at three, the Frankel filly showed promise at Kempton in September before a thoroughly creditable fourth in Newmarket’s Listed Rosemary Stakes the following month. There should be plenty of improvement to come from James Doyle’s mount, who is fancied to make it third time lucky. TROPICS Despite turning 10, has scored twice from three outings this year and top weight may not stop him from going in again (2.40). TAXMEIFYOUCAN At Kelso, should go well in the totescoop6 Handicap Hurdle (2.25). The four-year-old racked up a second victory from three attempts over hurdles when beating Sam’s Gunner over course and distance in February.

The runner-up went in by seven lengths next time, and Taxmeifyoucan looks capable of progressing past his rating on his handicap hurdles bow. ACDC

Bottom weight is preferred to three opponents in TAKINGRISKS, the opener (1.50), while

back in the winning groove over fences at Ayr last time out, looks intriguing back over the smaller obstacles (3.35).
