Horror fall at wife race

A WOMAN was badly injured during the British Wife Carrying Competition after landing on her head after a nasty tumble.

Shocked spectators lining the muddy 380m-long course in Dorking, Surrey, gasped in horror as she writhed in agony. She was rushed to hospital in a neck brace but her condition was unknown last night.
