ANTOINE GRIEZMANN denied Cristiano Ronaldo the derby headlines as Atletico Madrid fought back to claim a 1-1 La Liga draw at Real Madrid.

Griezmann’s 57th-minute equaliser cancelled out Ronaldo’s strike to extend Diego Simeone’s side’s run at the Bernabeu to three wins and two draws in their last five visits and keep them four points clear of their city rivals.

It also left Barcelona 11 points clear of secondplaced Atletico at the top of the table with seven games left. Real skipper Sergio Ramos almost won it at the death but his free-kick was saved by keeper Jan Oblak.
