Troublesome pre-teens

-

YOUNGSTERS are having mood swings early, with 90% of parents finding 10-year-olds more troublesome than teenagers.

And more than half believed girls were worse than boys once their age hit double figures.

Two-thirds blamed social media influence and an obsession with celebrity culture for youngsters’ behaviour. A spokesman for Aquafresh Advance toothpaste, behind the poll, said: “Parents have a lot to deal with, especially when it comes to pre-teens.

“Research found half of kids are overly emotional for no real reason, nearly half refuse to go to bed on time and over a quarter even refuse to brush their teeth.”
