DELE ALLI insists he is learning to control his temper.

On Saturday he stayed cool following heavy challenges from Stoke’s Ryan Shawcross, then set up a Christian Eriksen goal in Tottenham’s 2-1 win.

The 21-year-old (above) said: “I’ve been trying to improve a lot of aspects of my game and I want to keep my head.

“When the first tackle from Shawcross came in, I knew straight away what he was trying to do.

“He’s a nice guy but an aggressive player. I didn’t want to react to him. I wanted to play my own game and I was really happy with the result.”
