LIONS ROAR INTO TOP SIX

- BY TOM MASTON

MILLWALL moved another step closer to earning a play-off place as victory at struggling Bolton saw them climb into the top six.

Striker Tom Elliott (far left) got the ball rolling for manager Neil Harris’s side as he headed home Ben Marshall’s cross on 34 minutes. And Marshall ensured the Lions’ unbeaten run would stretch to 16 games after the break, sweeping home Mahlon Romeo’s cut-back.

The Trotters rarely looked like finding a way back into the game, with their fourth straight defeat leaving Phil Parkinson’s side just two points above the drop zone, ahead of Saturday’s showdown with Barnsley.
