It’s a Flipping big TV break

-

A fresh face is taking on antiques show veterans in a new daytime BBC1 show next week.

Upholstery expert Micaela Sharp is the newcomer on Flipping Profit, where she will be pitted against Bargain Hunt regulars Phil Sorrell and Kate Bliss.

The show will replace Money For Nothing, in the mid-afternoon Wednesday spot.

Micaela, right, of Sharp and Simpson, was signed by BBC talent scouts after they saw her designs on social media.

She said: “I leapt at the chance. As an upholsterer I can always see the value in pre-loved furniture which is full of history.

“I’m out to show how chairs can be a worthwhile investment.”
