Dacia has increased the price of its entry-level Sandero model to £6,995. That’s an increase of £1,000 but it’s the first price rise since the car was introduced five years ago. A fiver under £7k is still a very small sum to pay for a new car. What’s more if you pay an extra £800 and move up to the Sandero Ambiance (Access is the entry-level trim) you get DAB, air conditioning and electric front windows. They’re cheap on finance too: a £1,367 deposit will get you an Access for £89 per month over three years.
