NETBALL star Helen Housby spoke of “humiliating” New Zealand after England beat them 54-45 to book a semi-final against Jamaica.

Never before this record win had the Roses beaten the Silver Ferns at a Commonwealth Games.

The Kiwis, already under fire back home for losing to Malawi, still scraped into the last four – but must play hot favourites Australia.

Housby, England’s goal attack, said: “I don’t care about humiliating New Zealand.

“They were humiliated by Malawi and we knew they were a wounded animal coming into this game.”
