Road rager in chainsaw bus attack
A TREE surgeon shoved a chainsaw into a bus driver’s cab and shouted “I’m going to cut the bus in half ” in a road-rage attack.
Jason Stroud, 41, was furious after being cut up, a court heard.
He overtook the bus, forced it to stop and had a row with the driver before grabbing his chainsaw.
He also said he would “cut off the tyres” in the spat near his home in West Drayton, West London.
Father-of-one Stroud got 12-weeks’ suspended jail after admitting using abusive behaviour.
Magistrate Jenny Kerr, sitting at Uxbridge court, said: “It must’ve been absolutely terrifying for the bus driver to be approached with a chainsaw.”
Stroud was also banned from driving for a month.
