Brand new BBC docs quiz show from nurse Jo
SISTER ACT Jo Brand in Getting On JUNIOR Doctors are to compete in a new medical quiz show on BBC2.
Hosted by former mental health nurse Jo Brand, the five-parter will involve eight teams of three medics tackling an array of questions ranging from diagnosing a patient’s symptoms to prioritising cases in an A&E department.
Brand, who played a nurse in the BBC TV sitcom Getting On, said: “It’s like University Challenge but it’s medical — so fingers on organs, teams.”
She joked: “Hooray, another chance to berate junior doctors for their lack of knowledge. Haven’t done that since 1988.”
