CHRIS ROBSHAW insists the Harlequins players should take the flak for boss John Kingston losing his job.

Quins announced Kingston would leave at the end of this season on Monday although the decision was made more than a week before.

The players did not know about his departure ahead of Saturday’s dire 35-5 collapse to London Irish.

Robshaw (above) said: “It is unfair for everything to be pointed at him.

“As players, we have not been good enough. The weekend was one of the lowest moments. It is tough to look in the mirror.” Tonight: Newcastle v Sale, 7.45pm, BT Sport
