THE CHRISTIE FANS’ BACKLASH
Fans of Agatha Christie have been up in arms over Sarah Phelps’ edgy adaptation.
She has written many of EastEnders’ doof-doof moments and decided to change the ending.
Sarah says: “To the horror of Christie devotees I have changed the ending. I don’t give a b ****** s about people saying it had to be pure.”
Fans have also taken great exception to the characters’ swearing, with some saying strait-laced Agatha would be spinning in her grave.
