‘Dummy’ was missing OAP
THE body of a pensioner was mistaken for a dummy, an inquest heard.
The mistake meant Gloria Stringer, 81, was not found for three months.
A householder noticed the body in a garden in Hollingbourne, Kent, in February, but thought it was a dummy or a doll.
A gardener finally told police on March 30. Mrs Stringer was identified by her clothes and watch.
The inquest at Kent Coroner’s Office was adjourned until July.
