Spinner gets turn

SAM SPINNER faces a maximum of 10 rivals in tomorrow’s Grade 1 Ryanair Stayers’ Hurdle.

The six-year-old finished fifth when 9-4 favourite for the Stayers’ Hurdle at Cheltenham last month.

But his trainer Jedd O’Keeffe said: “He came out of the race well, and we believe he’s capable of better.”
