ON-the-spot fines for drunken, disruptive airline passengers are worth a go to ground the louts.

The noisy, threatening minority behaving badly at 28,000ft are a menace who make trips a misery for the majority behaving properly.

So if these fines do not work, let’s ban them from flying for 10 years or even life, with every airline landing and taking off in Britain sharing a list so the hooligans cannot switch carriers.

Airlines want their business but we do not want to sit next to them, so let’s keep the idiots off every plane. They would soon sober up.
