Angry birds live in cities
BIRDS in cities are bolder and more aggressive than their country cousins.
The reason could be that humans stress them out.
Researchers from Aberystwyth University played birdsong from a loudspeaker to monitor how great tits defend territory.
Dr Sam Hardman said: “Urban birds flew to the speaker 35.34 seconds faster and 1.63 metres closer than rural birds, suggesting they are bolder and more aggressive.”
