Anchorman star Ferrell hurt in crash
WILL Ferrell was taken to hospital after being injured in a serious car crash.
The Hollywood actor was being driven in an SUV that flipped after colliding with another car on a motorway in Orange County, California.
Anchorman star Ferrell was released from the wreckage and was seen speaking on his phone as his stretcher was loaded into an ambulance.
A fire official said four people were in hospital on Thursday night – three with minor injuries and one with “critical trauma”.
Witnesses said they saw a woman from Ferrell’s car bleeding profusely.
Ferrell, 50, was on his way back from a comedy event near San Diego at the time of the accident.
