Wave of relief as Philip goes home after op
PRINCE Philip waves as he heads home to recover at Windsor Castle, nine days after his hip replacement.
The Duke of Edinburgh, 96, was discharged yesterday from King Edward VII hospital in West London.
A spokesman said he would “like to convey his appreciation for messages of good wishes he has received”.
He is due at Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding next month.
Meghan, 36, took a secret trip to Chicago on Thursday to finalise her UK visa application. She was seen in black at O’Hare International Airport.
