DARCY A BIG HOPE FOR TORONTO

- BY GARETH WALKER

TORONTO coach Paul Rowley says the club’s latest high profile recruit Darcy Lussick can help the club’s Super League push.

The Aussie prop (inset) has racked up over 100 appearances in the NRL with Manly and Parramatta and links up with the ambitious Canadian club immediately.

Rowley said: “He’s another big human being and we’re starting to strike up a nice pack of forwards now.

“I know Ashton Sims and the boys are looking forward to playing alongside him. He plays a tough game, and brings size, experience and toughness on the field. He plays the game pretty ruthlessly.” Lussick’s arrival is the latest measure the club has taken to replace experienced trio Dave Taylor, Fuifui Moimoi and Ryan Bailey, who all left in pre-season.
