PRICE hikes and ditching free calls – no wonder customers are hanging up on British Gas in droves.

Paying to ring the supplier to make a complaint takes the biscuit.

It’s British Gas’s hard working call centre workers who get the flak, not its bosses who are engaged in raking in telephone number bonuses. British Gas could save a packet from the switch as it won’t have to cover the cost of all those angry calls. But if it got its act together customers wouldn’t need to bombard them with calls in the first place.
