AKE: WE WERE JUST TOO SLOPPY
NATHAN AKE admits that Bournemouth need to take a long, hard look at their failings at Anfield.
Boss Eddie Howe (left) was left down in the dumps.
And Holland international defender Ake, given the unenviable task of marking Mo Salah, said: “A few sloppy moments changed the game.
“Liverpool’s first goal – free in the middle. Second goal – free in the middle and Salah came into space.
“And the third one, yeah, it’s not good.
“We didn’t really get a grip of the game. We wanted to play attractive football but we couldn’t do that.
“I think we went long ball far too easily, but obviously they are a very good team.
“If there is no pressure on the ball, then Salah can make incredible movement in behind you – so it’s really difficult.”
