Gunners facing chaos in new season
ARSENE WENGER could see Arsenal’s pre-season plans thrown into turmoil.
The Gunners may be pressed into Europa League action on July 26 –
just 11 days after the World Cup final. It also clashes with a pre-season tour of Singapore – set to be announced by Arsenal with friendlies against Atletico Madrid and Paris SaintGermain on July 26 and 28 respectively.
Wenger’s men also have friendlies with Manchester City and Valencia in the pipeline. It could all add up to a nightmare summer schedule for Arsenal – with a potential SIX extra Europa League qualifiers.
That is if resilient Burnley pip them for sixth place in the Premier League and Arsenal fail to win this Europa League on May 16.
