Lunch ‘hour’ now 15 mins

-

THE traditional lunch hour is dying out, with 25% of workers snatching less than 15 minutes for food.

Many now have a “nano lunch”, a quickie break taken between tasks.

More than 70% of UK workers take less than 40 minutes for lunch, a survey by Wagamama found.

And only 17% enjoy a full 60 minutes.

Andre Johnstone, of Wagamama, said: “It’s becoming difficult to take a longer lunch as jobs become more demanding.”
