Bosses slam the brakes on Bakes
Paul Hollywood’s international series City Bakes has been dropped after two series on Food Network. Bosses there say they have “no current plans” for a third run of the show, which saw the master baker globetrotting for 20, hour-long episodes in places including Cape Town, Jerusalem, Reykjavik and Antwerp.
The many months away filming doubtless took its toll on his marriage to wife Alex, mother of their teenage son Josh, which broke down last year.
So the demise of the programme means the 52-year-old won’t have to spend as much time away from his new squeeze, 22-year-old Summer MonteysFullam. Every cloud and all that…
