Froome feeling ‘great’ for Giro

CHRIS FROOME said he was in a “great position” for the Giro d’Italia after a strong showing at the Tour of the Alps.

Froome was fourth on the 90-mile stage – won by Miguel Angel Lopez – but said: “I’m in a great position as my main objective for now is to be ready for the Giro.”
