Everton ask fans if they trust the manager and his coaches to get the best out of their team

- BY DAVID MADDOCK

EVERTON supporters have been asked whether they trust Sam Allardyce.

Season-ticket holders and members can rate on a scale of zero to 10 if they believe the manager can make the “right decision and get the best out of the team”.

Fans voiced their discontent with Allardyce during Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Swansea, and owner Farhad Moshiri is considering a summer overhaul of the management structure.

Big Sam will not be amused

to discover he and his coaches are the subject of this statement: “I have a high level of trust in the current manager and coaching staff of Everton eg; in making the right decisions to get the best out of the team.”

The questionnaire is aimed at gauging views on a number of key issues.

The same question is asked about the players and whether fans trust them to deliver, and of the current senior leadership team and their ability to make the right decisions for the future.

Allardyce agreed an 18-month, £9million deal to replace Ronald Koeman in November and has steered Everton away from the relegation zone.

But his style of football has been questioned and Shakhtar Donetsk manager Paulo Fonseca has been linked to the Goodison job.

The survey was introduced 12 months ago when Koeman was boss.
